Returns & Refunds Policy

At Gym Gear, we aim to provide high-quality products and a smooth shopping experience. If you need to return an item, please review the policy below to ensure your return qualifies.


7-Day Returns (Peace of Mind)

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery (as confirmed by our courier).

  • The product is new, unused, unopened, and undamaged.

  • The item is returned in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and labels intact.

  • No stickers, tape, or markings may be placed directly on the product packaging.

  • Products must be returned in a resaleable condition.

Gym Gear reserves the right to refuse a return or apply a deduction if the above conditions are not met.


Restocking Fees & Non-Returnable Items

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%. This fee may apply if, upon inspection, any of the following are found:

  • The product has been installed and later dismantled, showing signs of use or installation

  • Items are returned without original packaging

  • Accessories, components, or manuals are missing

Where applicable, the restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will be issued once the return has been received and successfully inspected. In the case of an exchange, the restocking fee may be applied to the value difference.


Shipping & Handling

All shipping, handling, and return courier costs are for the customer’s account and are non-refundable.

Return shipping costs and courier arrangements are at the customer’s expense.


Spare Parts

Please note that spare parts are non-returnable and non-refundable, and no exchanges will be accepted on spare-part orders.


How to Request a Return

Returns may only be sent back after written approval from Gym Gear.


Returning Your Item

  • Gym Gear does not offer a returns collection service.

  • Customers must arrange their own courier for returns.

  • Items must be securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.

  • Returns received damaged or in unsaleable condition may be rejected or partially refunded.


Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only after the returned item has been received and inspected.

  • Approved refunds are typically processed within 30 days of the refund request.

  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method where possible.


Special-Order Items

Products that are custom-made, specially imported, or modified on request are classified as special-order items and are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.


Incorrect Items Delivered

If you receive an incorrect item:

  • Contact us immediately at info@gymgear.co.za

  • Do not open, use, or install the product

  • We will arrange collection of the incorrect item and delivery of the correct one at no additional cost


Commercial Customers

For commercial customers (annual turnover above R2 million):

  • All orders are considered final, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • If a return is approved, a 20% handling and restocking fee will apply.

  • Proof of return and supporting documentation remain the customer’s responsibility.

Gym Gear shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage - whether direct, indirect, or consequential - arising from the use or misuse of any product supplied.
