The SC20 has all the material features that distinguish Force Fitness products from the competition: 12-gauge steel construction, antimicrobial tear-resistant upholstery, chip-and-rust-resistant powder-black paint, and an obsession with ergonomics that especially comes through here.
Besides making sure that it was built to last, our primary concern, when designing the SC20, was that any able-bodied user, regardless of their physiology, can perform calf raises comfortably. To that end, the pads that anchor the athlete’s legs are 2.5 inches thick and made with industrial-grade Polyurethane foam. The seat is similarly upholstered and extra-wide (16 inches) to accommodate a variety of anterior amplitudes.
Two 8-inch weight horns will fit six 45-pound weight plates like our Olympics for an upward capacity of 540 pounds that can be further increased by adding our Savage chains.
Whereas most calf-raise machines only allow you to adjust the leg brace vertically, the SR20 gives you 7.5 inches of horizontal adjustability. It even tilts 30 degrees forward and backward to make sure that no matter what dimensional challenges your body poses, this calf-raise platform can solve them.
